Glacier Explorer

Hidden beyond the coastal rainforest and deep within the Misty Fjords lies the Alaska Glacier. Photography of these glaciers on a floatplane air tour will be a highlight of all sightseeing tours. Departing in a Ketchikan seaplane, our flights will take us through the Misty Fiords National Monument and north to the prehistoric land of the Alaska Glacier.

As with all of our cruise ship tours the trip will be complimented by a shoreline excursion during a remote water landing to reload your cameras. This guided trip includes about 1.5 hours of flying with thirty minutes of shoreline excursion.

Should weather prevent us from viewing the Alaska Glacier (snow clouds are common in these areas), our guided tour will continue as Misty Explorer flight seeing and price reduced accordingly.

Tour times are estimated and may vary slightly according to wind and weather conditions.
